Math Honor Society

Inductees must have completed the equivalent of two years of college preparatory mathematics, including algebra and/or geometry, and have completed or be enrolled in a third year of college preparatory mathematics. Additionally, they must have at least a 3.0 math grade point average. 

Mu Alpha Theta, the National Mathematics Honor Society, is dedicated to inspiring a keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in high school and two-year college students. Currently, more than 100,000 students are Mu Alpha Theta members at more than 2,420 schools in the United States and in 23 foreign countries.
