Keishanne said, “Based on my original research for my science research course, this publication was the culmination of hard work and tenacity over the past year. It served as an outlet to test my potential but it really could not have been accomplished without the people who provided the resources and guidance necessary to take my research to its highest level.”

She is conducting her original research in the laboratory of Dr. Christopher Whitehurst in the pathology, microbiology and immunology department at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY."
