WHS Class of 2024 Valedictorian and Salutatorian Named!

WHS Principal Keith Schenker shared news, first with the students and then with the entire WHS Community In his monthly newsletter. He wrote, “I am very excited to announce that the final calculations are complete and we are ready to honor and celebrate the Class of 2024 Valedictorian and Salutatorian.  These two students are most impressive having earned accolades in various areas over their four years at Westlake.”

Patricia Keating, WHS Valedictorian for the Class of 2024 has been an active member of numerous honor societies across all disciplines at WHS.  In fact, she was just named the winner of a $1000 scholarship from the AATSP (American Assoc. of Teachers of Spanish & Portuguese) which sponsors the WHS Spanish Honor Society. She is a leader and standout player for our Varsity Volleyball Team and has committed herself to not only an incredibly rigorous course of study at Westlake High School but also is an impressive Science Research student who has excelled in both local and regional competitions.  

Melania Petriccione, WHS  Salutatorian for the Class of 2024 is an avid swimmer, a member of numerous honor societies, a representative on the WHS Building Leadership Team, and this year’s Aimee Braun Scholarship recipient, all while also taking on a tremendously rigorous course load.
